Findhorn
Ian has submitted details of an excellent beach and forest area for members to try out. "When I was in the RAF at Kinloss, I bought a caravan on the Findhorn Caravan Park and regularly made my way to the beach and dunes area at Findhorn".
Directions
Between the Western tip of Findhorn Bay and East, past Gordonstoun School, virtually as far as Lossiemouth (around 12 miles), is a lovely deserted beach and forestry commission conifer plantation, extending over 1 mile from the coast to the back road running between Forres and Elgin, passing through Kinloss village. At that time, in the mid-1960's, I made regular contact with the newly founded "Findhorn Foundation". I just had the urge to get my kit off whilst walking along the beach back towards Findhorn Bay. This came as no surprise to the eclectic pagan community there. From then on I regularly got into the habit of nude sunbathing on the beach bordering the forest and also nude walks within the forest itself. If I was in better health I would like to include it in my future Scottish holidays. If other members can give it a try, please post your opinions and observations.
